Burleydam Pool near Whitchurch = 11 on 20th.

Comber Mere near Whitchurch = 22 on 22nd.

Doddington Mere near Nantwich = 42 on 29th.

Arclid SQ,Sandbach = Canada Geese = 103, Lesser Black-backed Gull = 9, Little Ringed Plover = 2 and 3 Oystercatchers.

Baddiley Meres near Nantwich = Mute Swans = 8, Shelduck = 6 and Tufted Duck = 19.

Burleydam pool near Whitchurch = Mute Swans = 11 and Oystercatchers = 2.

Comber Mere near Whitchurch = Great Crested Grebes = 9, Lesser Black-backed Gull = 9, Mute Swans = 12 and Shelduck = 15.

Nantwich Boating Lake = Mallard = 90.

Quoisley Meres near Whitchurch = Canada Geese = 115 and Greylag Geese = 20.

Winterley Pool near Sandbach = Canada Geese = 45 and Kingfisher = 1.

During April the Cheshire Swan Study Group ringed a total of 9 Mute Swans. These consisted of 4 second years and 5 Adults. There were 3 controls.

Acre Dell Pools, Congleton = 61 on 8th.

Comber Mere near Whitchurch = 31 on 30th.

Coole Pilate near Nantwich = 20 on 3rd.

Doddington Mere near Nantwich = 9 on 12th.

Middlewich Canal = 35 on 7th.

Arclid SQ,Sandbach = 50 Canada Geese and 1 Common Sandpiper.

Acre Dell Pools, Congleton = 62 Canada Geese, 48 Mute Swans and 3 Oystercatchers.

Baddiley Meres near Nantwich = 38 Black-headed Gulls, 1 Common Sandpiper, 6 Great Crested Grebes, 1 Jack Snipe, 4 Oystercatchers, 2 Shelduck, 12 Snipe, 4 Teal, 13 Tufted Ducks and 4 Wigeon.

Queens Park Lake,Crewe = 74 Canada Geese, 7 Greylag Geese, 3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and 37 Mallard.

Quoisley Meres near Whitchurch = 60 Canada Geese and 17 Tufted Duck.
