Arclid SQ,Sandbach = Black Headed Gulls = 154, Cormorant = 12, Goosander = 3, Lapwing = 56, Lesser Black backed Gull = 72, Mallard = 48, Pochard = 4 and Tufted Duck = 48.

Bache House pool, Nantwich = Goosander = 6 and Mallard = 48.

Burleydam pool near Whitchurch = Black headed Gull = 40, Cormorant = 4, Lapwing = 24, Shelduck = 5, Teal = 46 and Wigeon = 288.

Baddiley Meres near Nantwich = Black headed Gull = 200, Canada Geese = 250, Goosander = 4, Teal = 90 and Wigeon = 45.

Hurleston Reservoir, Nantwich = Goosander = 4, Mallard = 165 and Tufted Duck =15.

Nantwich Boating Lake = Black headed Gull = 165, Goosander = 6 and Mallard = 114.

Queens Park Lake, Crewe = Black headed Gull = 70, Canada Geese = 74, Goosander = 4 and Mallard = 104.

 

This is the last of the Wetland Bird Survey Report as I am stepping down from being the Coordinator as from the end of this year. I hope to have a new monthly topic in the New Year. Heres wishing all my readers a very Happy Christmas and New Year from David Cookson.
